Interior designers: show your China work to buyers abroad

FangScout readers are people outside China who are viewing, renting and buying homes here. Your projects show them what a Chinese home can become — and put your name in front of them.

Free to submit, free to publishYour byline and portfolio linkYou keep your copyright

What you get

No fees in either direction — the exchange is exposure for work.

Your byline, your credit

Every published project carries your name, your studio and your city, plus one link to your own portfolio or studio website.

Readers who are actually buying

FangScout's audience is abroad and actively viewing homes in China. Some are planning a renovation or a move — the people most likely to need a designer.

A page you can share

Your project gets its own page on FangScout that you can send to clients and post anywhere. Share it, and your work — and this site — travels further.

What we are looking for

Original interior projects in China, photographed by you or for you:

Projects

Renovations, model homes, rental makeovers, small-apartment transformations, before-and-after stories. New builds and single-room projects are welcome too.

Photos and a short write-up

8–20 photos, plus a short text: the city, the home type and size, your concept, and anything that was hard or clever about the job. A budget band is optional. English is best; Chinese is fine — we will translate.

How to submit

Four steps, all by email — no account, no form, no fee.

Email us

Send your project to hello@fangscout.com with the subject “Designer submission”.

Attach the work

8–20 photos, your write-up, your name, studio and city, and the portfolio link you want in your byline.

We review

We check the project fits this page and reply within 5 business days. We may edit for length and clarity.

Published with credit

Your project goes live with your byline and link, and we email you the page URL.

The rules, plainly. Submit only your own work, and only photos you own or have permission to publish. The byline links to your own portfolio — we do not publish third-party client links, affiliate links or sponsored placements, and we never sell guest posts or links. Publication is not guaranteed; we may decline a project that does not fit. Sending a submission gives FangScout permission to publish it here with credit to you; you keep your copyright, and you can ask us to take it down at any time.

Questions

Does it cost anything to submit or to be published?

No. Submission and publication are both free, and FangScout does not pay for submissions. The exchange is exposure: your byline, your studio name and a link to your own portfolio, in front of readers abroad who are viewing and buying homes in China.

Do I keep the copyright in my photos and text?

Yes. You keep full ownership. By submitting, you give FangScout permission to publish your photos and write-up on fangscout.com with credit to you. You can ask us to take a published project down at any time and we will remove it.

What links can I include?

Your byline may link to your own portfolio or studio website. We do not publish third-party client links, affiliate links or sponsored placements, and we never sell guest posts or links.

I am not in China. Can I submit?

Yes, if the project itself is a home in China. Designers anywhere can submit a China project. Write-ups in English are best; Chinese is fine too — we will translate.
